Update, Wednesday, 8:45 a.m.: A Detroit mother admits killing her two children who were found in a freezer. Jim Kiertzner of WXYZ reports:
According to sources, Blair confessed to killing her other son in May of 2012 by strangling him. He would have been 11 years old today.
Blair also confessed to torturing her daughter and killing her 9 months later. She would have been 14 today.
Blair said she caught the boy sexually assaulting her youngest son and discovered the daughter was molesting the youngest son later.

It was easy for the two children who were found in the freezer in an apartment on Detroit's east side to fly under the radar and go missing for long stretches because they were home-schooled.
On Tuesday, the bodies of a boy, about 11, and his sister, about 14, were found in a stand-alone freezer in an apartment. The mother, Mitchelle Blair, 35, has been taken into custody for questioning, but has not been charged, The Detroit News reports .
The bodies were discovered about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday inside a townhouse at the Martin Luther King homes on the 800 block of St. Aubin by a crew from 36th District Court charged with evicting Blair for non-payment of rent, the paper says in front-page lead article with four bylines -- Holly Fournier, George Hunter, Robert Snell and Tom Greenwood.
Neighbor Shanetria Lanier, 21, said people in the apartment complex wondered what happened to the two children, who suddenly dropped out of sight about a year ago.
"When people asked her where her other two kids are, she said they were at their aunt's house," Lanier said. "Or sometimes she'd tell people they stayed inside because they didn't like to be around people."
Lanier added that Blair home-schooled her kids. "That's why no schools were wondering where they were," she said. An official with Detroit Public Schools said there was no record of the children attending classes in the district.
The very top of Blair's Faccebook page reads: "Loyal to my babies." A recent post also says: "There is no greater blessing than being called Mom."
The News reports that her two other children, 11 and 17, were taken into protective custody.
