Vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine and his wife Anne Holton will make a campaign appearance on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Focus Hope on Oakland Boulevard in Detroit.

A campaign press release says that  Kaine will deliver a speech on "the economy and discuss the high stakes of this election for Michiganders as well as Hillary Clinton's vision for an America."

The campaign says that due to space constraints, the event won't be open to the general public.

Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight website currently gives Hillary Clinton and Kaine a 92.7 percent chance of winning Michigan, and an 88.1 percent chance of winning the election.
