A store owner could face possible charges after he allegedly shooting a 33-year-old panhandler at a strip mall in Pontiac. The man died.
Panhandler Nils Vikstrom was shot at a gaming cafe called Reel Amusement, according to Fox2.
"He had relayed he felt threatened," said Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, according to Fox2.
Bouchard said Vikstrom had a reputation for being aggressive and had convictions for being a public nuisance and disorderly and an assault.
Fox2 reported that Vikstrom had just been released from Havenwyck Mental Hospital a few days ago.
The store owner was in the Oakland County Jail pending possible charges, Fox2 reported.
