Short of the media revealing that U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow was a leader in the Symbionese Liberation Army and brain washed Patty Hearst, we can safely say she will win re-election.
A Detroit News/WDIV poll shows that she is leading Republican opponent, U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra 50.1 percent to 37.5 percent.
But apparently she's taking no chances.
