Judge Accused of Wrongdoing in Rosa Parks Case Pushes Back

After coming under a very public attack in the past year, Wayne County Probate Judge Freddie Burton Jr. pushed back this week against an attorney who accused him of conspiring with other lawyers to drain the estate of Rosa Parks.

Burton, in a two-page order, dismissed a lawsuit filed by attorney Steven G. Cohen against Burton himself and two probate lawyers.

Burton also told Cohen to top harassing him with “unfounded, illegal pleadings," the Freep reported. Cohen was none too happy.  -- A.L.
