The Odd Couple? Ex-Mayor Bloomberg Will Hold Fundraiser for Gov. Snyder in N.Y.

It seems like, at least on a personal level,  a little bit of an odd pairing: Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Gov. Rick Snyder.

Some how I imagine Snyder sitting down at New York deli with Bloomberg and Snyder ordering a corned beef on white bread and Bloomberg glancing across the table and slapping his hand on his forehead in disbelief.

That being said, Bloomberg, a former Republican and Democrat turned Independent, will host a fundraiser on June 5  for the  Republican governor at his home in the Big Apple, reports the website Daily News 724.com. Snyder is up for re-election this year and is going up against former Rep. Mark Schauer.

Contribution levels will range from $1,000 a head to $6,800. -- Allan Lengel
