A notable piece of Hamtramck is up for sale.

Paul Beshouri of Curbed Detroit reports that bidding has officially opened for HamTower, the tallest building in the city's downtown section. The minimum bid is $75,000.

Curbed reported that the last auction didn't turn out so well. The winning bidder failed to cough up $200,200 and the building eventually was turned over to the city.

Curbed notes:

We have word that the interior has plenty of historical detailing, while the Hamtramck Review adds that antique furniture and musical instruments can also be found within. Bidding closes February 12.
