Fast work by Detroit police resulted in the arrests of four people after a 64-year-old Vietnam veteran was brutally beaten Monday afternoon on Detroit's east side.
It was the latest in a long string of incidents at Detroit gas stations.
"Hitting me. Kicking me. Anything they wanted to do, everything they wanted to do, they were doing it," the veteran told Kimberly Craig in an exclusive interview with WXYZ-TV.
The veteran's 58-year-old friend, who was also assaulted, says they were parking at a pump, one of the assailants said "if you hit me, I'm going to kill you."
