There's dignitaries like Hillary Clinton who have weighed in on Syria situation, and oh yes, let's not forget Warren Mayor James Fouts.
Fouts took the opportunity on Wednesday, the anniversary of 9/11, to comment on the Syria situation, saying President Obama has failed to make a case to take military action, according to the Macomb Daily.
(Syrian President Bashar) Assad is no Hitler,” Fouts said at the 12th observance of 9/11 at a National Day of Service and Remembrance at Davenport University’s Warren Campus. “He’s from a small, second-rate nation that poses no threat to the U.S. or any other country in the world.”
Unquestionably, his comments will be digested and dissected by the White House and Congress before it proceeds. Ok, not really Jim. -- Allan Lengel
