Sticker

Warren Mayor Jim Fouts is leaving no room for people to guess how he feels about the recently approved right-to-work legislation in Michigan.

The Detroit News reports that mayor of the state's third biggest city is offering free anti-right-to-work bumper stickers.

"This law is a slap-in-the-face to union members, their families and union retirees whose gains in the workplace have raised wages and benefits and made the workplace safer, even for non-union employees," Warren Mayor Jim Fouts said in a statement published Wednesday in the Detroit News. "Our standard of living in Michigan is higher for everyone because of union-won gains at the bargaining table."

The paper noted that taxpayers are not footing the bill. To get one, call (586) 574-4520.
