A political commercial in Arkansas that rails against "liberals" and the elite media, law firms, ACLU, Hillary Clinton and President Obama has unkind words for Detroit as well.
The Conservative War Chest Superpac, which is running the attack ad against Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor, makes assertions about his record, David Shepardson of The Detroit News reports.
“This is Arkansas — and we won’t let you Detroit America with taxes and debt — and no jobs,” says a passage in the two-minute ad that started Sunday.
The words about Detroit are accompanied by the above photo of an abandoned home with tires in the yard.
Pryor is running against U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas. The race could determine which party rules the U.S. Senate.
A CNN/ORC International poll released in recent days showed that Cotton with a 2-point advantage.
