According to a weeklong survey conducted by Transportation Riders United just 67% of DDOT buses arrive on time at their scheduled stops.

“It is outrageous that for riders working six days a week, DDOT would make them late twice every week – clearly unacceptable to any boss,” said Megan Owens, TRU Executive Director. “How can people get ahead if they cannot get around?”

It may be a dubious achievement, but this is actually an improvement over TRU's spring survey when just 63% of DDOT buses arrived on time. A year ago, they recorded a 50% on-time rate.

Still, regardless of what Meatloaf may think, when it comes to bus service, two out of three is very, very bad. -- JTW
