Marijuana advocates can rejoice over the latest court ruling. The Michigan Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the state law regarding medical marijuana protects patients regardless if they have a marijuana registry card.
The Free Press reports that the court ruled that the voters' intent was "to permit both registered and unregistered patients to assert medical reasons for using marijuana as a defense to any prosecution involving marijuana."
