WDIV reports that final results of soil samples taken from a Roseville backyard showed no signs of ex-Teamster boss James Hoff.
A tipster said Hoffa may have been buried there, prompting a media frenzy and leading investigators to take a soil sample on Friday.
Many including some retired FBI agents who had worked on some aspect of the Hoffa disappearance were highly skeptical of the tip.
Hoffa disappeared in July 30, 1975. The case has never been solved, but the FBI feels it has a pretty good idea as to who was involved.
