Ridiculously tattooed man faces sentencing for carjacking elderly couple

Christopher Bowens will be sentenced today for carjacking an elderly couple in Lincoln Park.

Based on his mugshot, it's hard to imagine what sort of vocation Bowens would have had if he hadn't tried his hand at the lucrative, but risky trade of armed vehicle theft. Facial tattoos really limit one's career options, and while Bowens' look might seem over-the-top in his mug shot, based on this WDIV video, he's added even more ink to his aesthetic scheme.

It's almost like some people want to go to jail. But do they really have to menace an 80-year-old couple to achieve that dream? -- JTW
