Reggie Bush has watched film of the Detroit Lions and has seen the opposing safeties playing deep and paying extra attention to Calvin Johnson.

“It’s a running back’s dream,” Bush says in The New York Times. “We have to be able to run the ball in that situation.”

Bush was introduced as a Lion on Wednesday, a big day for Detroit, which landed two other free agents, safety Glover Quin and defensive lineman Jason Jones, and retained cornerback Chris Houston.

Detroit did not disclose financial terms of Bush’s four-year contract.
