Normally, the main problem along Trumbull Avenue north of I-94 in Detroit is malfunctioning street lights.
On Monday morning, though, an apparent water main break has turned the roadway into a large reflecting pool and nearly swallowed a car.
"The driver tried to barrel through the water, car was stuck and he got out and left," says Deadline Detroit reader Ankur Dholakia, a Detroit resident.
Other cars were trapped as well.
