Mitt Romney may like the trees in Michigan, but that still doesn't make him Michiganian -- at least in some folks' eyes.
A Public Policy Polling survey of 500 Michigan voters found that just 24 percent think he's a Michiganian. The other 65 percent aren't buying it.
How many think he really loves our trees? The poll apparently didn't address that.
It did, however, show that Obama leads Romney in Michigan 53 to 39 percent. -- A.L.
