Packard Plant Auction, Rewind: Peru Bidder Takes One Giant Step Forward

OK, so Wayne County's treasurer will try to sell you-know-what yet again, as John Gallagher reports in a there-paragraph brief.

Peru-based developer Fernando Palazuelo has deposited a required 10% down payment of his winning $405,000 bid for the Packard Plant with the Wayne County Treasurer.

Palazuelo, the No. 3 bidder in an October tax foreclosure auction, has until Dec. 18 to fork over the remaining $364,500, Gallagher writes.
