It's an interesting case of irony.

Drive through Detroit, on the east side and west side, and you'll find an endless collection of homes that should be razed remain upright. They're not only ugly eyesores but pose a danger to residents.

Now this.

Serena Maria Daniels of the Detroit News reports that the state's Land Bank Fast Track Authority, which was part of a program to eliminate blight near three east side schools, mistakenly razed at least 12 homes that people had purchased. One home was purchased by a couple of artists and 11 others by a local investor.
