She once sang "Do your job, do your job."

Now, convict Monica Conyers, the rather chatty former city council member, is doing her job at Metrotech Collision shop on Michigan Avenue in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood, according to Amy Lange of Fox2. Conyers is doing administrative work.

Conyers is finishing up her public corruption prison sentence under home confinement. She's done serving her sentence in May.

"First she was in a halfway house. She applied for the job. We checked her resume. She had good credentials. We hired her," Sam Hussein of Metrotech told Fox2. "She's been here for about two months now."

"She's doing a great job at work," Hussein said.
