Karl Rove and company are sharpening their fangs for the presidential race and taking aim at Michigan.
The Freep reports that Rove, who is part of Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies, a Republican advocacy group, will air an Obama attack ad that will play in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Flint, Lansing and Traverse City.
The group, which also includes other advisers to George W. Bush, will spend $680,000 to air the ad, which has a message of no-hope with Obama. -- A.L.
