One proposal for the 10-acre site along Michigan Avenue contains a plan for new businesses and store fronts, Jeff Vaughn reports on WXYZ-TV, and apartments and condos with parking along Trumbull.
Curbed Detroit reported September 29 that one of the developers, The Roxbury Group—known for the David Whitney Hotel and apartments— proposes construction of 180 apartments as well as retail space with two large anchor tenants and an additional 6,000 square feet of "neighborhood retail space." The other finalist, the Bloomfield Hills-based Larson Realty Group LLC, has said only that their proposal will have "a series of neighborhood-style retail and residential."
Vaughan did not identify which developer came up with the drawing he produced.
