 Ann Arbor finds itself at or near the top of a lot of lists. But is it really that great?

Kellie Woodhouse of Annarbor.com looked into this 21st-Century phenomenon. 

She writes: But when you look at all of the rankings compiled —family, retirees, singles, students, kids, professionals— the lists beg the question: How could one place be the best for everything and absolutely everyone?

So how is it that Ann Arbor is constantly featured on these lists? It's probably a mix of three things.
