Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail

Not a bad haul, not bad at all.

Hillary Clinton collected at least $567,000 Tuesday during her first Michigan fundraiser of the presidential campaign cycle at the Grosse Pointe home of Jill Alper and David Katz, Chad Livengood writes in The Detroit News.

The News reports that about 210 people attended the fundraiser and that cost $2,700 a ticket.

Livengood writes:

But the figure is likely higher because event hosts were tasked with bundling together $27,000 or more in contributions to get some extra face time with the former secretary of state, U.S. senator and first lady.

Fundraisers who brought $50,000 to the event were eligible to be part of the campaign’s “Hilraisers program,” according to an invitation obtained by The Detroit News.
