Is it too far fetched to think of our nerd governor, Rick Snyder, as a presidential candidate?

Well, since Snyder has been on national TV touting the state, and has traveled internationally, political reporter Tim Skubik thought it would be worth asking Snyder his thoughts on a presidential bid.

In a report for Fox2, Skubik shows that the governor is dodging that question.

"That's one of those speculative hypotheticals that's way out there," Snyder said with a laugh. "I'm just happy being governor of Michigan."

It goes on from there:

Skubick: "So, if that's such a wild idea, how about saying you won't run for president."

Snyder: "I don't see value in that."

His wife had a different take.

Subick asked wife Sue Snyder if that possibility is off the table.

"Yes, it is. Clearly from my perspective," she said. -- Allan Lengel
