Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan is realizing these days that it's not what's for dinner or lunch that counts but rather who's going to be sitting at the table.

Recently, Duggan dined at Roma Cafe in Eastern Market with Vice President Joe Biden, who attended the auto show.

Today, he's expected to have lunch with President Obama in the Lansing area, the Detroit Free Press reports. The President is scheduled to sign a major farm bill at 2 p.m. on the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing.
