That's the verdict of judges who decided she out-grilled guys from the Rattlesnake Club, Townhouse bistro in Birmingham and 14 other restaurants this weekend.

Herrold, chef at 18-month-old One-Eyed Betty's in Ferndale, won the second Detroit Burger Brawl at Eastern Market. In addition to dethroning the defending champ -- executive chef Jay Gundy of Townhouse -- the new winner beat Rattlesnake chef de cuisine Chris Franz of in a final grill-off Saturday afternoon.

"It feels really good to win," Herrold tells Lauren Abdel-Razzaq of The Detroit News.

The victorious Betty Burger, served on a brioche roll, features artisan sharp cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, greens, tomatoes, onion and garlic aoili. It's $12.

Competitors also included Detroit’s Green Dot Stables, Grosse Pointe Park's Red Crown, Ferndale's Local Kitchen & Bar and Metropolitan Cafe in Shelby Township.
