After two debates, frankly, an anything-goes cage fight would make more sense.

At this point, this is a sporting event, a boxing match, a first-class put-down fight.

Let's face it: Are Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton going to convert you in this third debate?

Very doubtful.

Sure, there are those uncommitted who are hoping the final debate sets them straight. But at this point, if you haven't figured it out, it's not clear this will do it. These "uncommitted" are probably the same folks who pull their hair out trying to decide which ice cream to get at Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors.

The biggest surprise always seems to be which guests the two sides invite.

This time Trump may have out done himself.  CNN reports that Trump has invited President Barack Obama's Kenyan-born half-brother, Malik, to the debate.  Now, that's an interesting guest. Score one for Trump for theatrics.

In any event, here's some places to go if you want to watch the debate in a public venue. We found these in the Metro Times and on Facebook.

  • Temple Bar, 2906 Cass Ave.
  • Detroit Alphas, 293 Eliot St.
  • The Park Bar, 2040 Park Ave.
  • The Anchor Bar, 450 W. Fort St.

If you know of any others, please post in the comment section below.
