A spree of art, music, dance, theater and celebrations of Detroit's cultural mix returns to Midtown with the start of Art X Detroit on Wednesday night.
Free presentations will take place at more than a dozen Cultural Center sites, sponsored by the Kresge Foundation. The first Art X Detroit was in 2010.
Opening night events from 6:15-11 p.m.feature live performances at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), First Congregational Church, the N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art and Wayne State. A schedule is here.
