An Ypsilanti Township man was arrested Monday evening for allegedly cooking methamphetamine in the front seat of his Mustang convertible, according to John Fountain of Annarbor.com.
The car was parked in front of a residence where the man was known to occasionally stay, said Sgt. Geoff Fox of the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.
Police were dispatched after receiving a call that the man was behaving suspiciously. There were reports that the man was "shaking bottles," Fox said.
Chevrette, who is also the head of the Washtenaw County HAZMAT team, said the man was "cold cooking" in a pop bottle.
