The popular Cheesecake Factory, a national chain operated by a native Detroiter, is set to open this summer at Twelve Oaks Mall -- the first Michigan site.
The Detroit News reports that Taubman Centers announced that the restaurant, known for big portions and an extensive menu, will open Aug. 13. The, restaurant will be 8,430 square feet, and will seat 225 inside and another 60 on the patio.
The chain already is in 35 other states, including two Michigan neighbors -- Ohio and Indiana.
Though its arrival is more than two months away, word of the opening pleases Detroit News readers.
