Well, the same can't be said for what Bob wants.
Joel Kurth of The Detroit News reports that Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano wants federal agents to clear his name from the ongoing FBI probe into corruption in the county.
The feds have yet to do so, Kurth reports.
Kurth writes:
Within the past three weeks, Ficano sent his deputy, Jeffrey Collins, to speak with U.S. attorneys and ask for a letter stating that Ficano is not a target of their investigation, a source with knowledge of the meeting said.
Ficano, who is up for re-election next year, sought the letter because the investigation is making it harder for him to govern and raise money, the source said.
