With the March 8 state presidential primary just around the corner, Michigan should start seeing a lot more of the presidential hopefuls.

On Monday, Democratic contender, Sen. Bernie Sanders will make his first campaign appearance in the state with a rally at Eastern Michigan University's Convocation Center, WXYZ reports. The doors open at 12:30 and reservations are suggested.

GOP hopeful, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, will make appearances on Monday and Tuesday, WXYZ reports.

A poll by IMP/Target Insyght taken earlier this month shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead in Michigan with 35 percent followed by Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Crus, both with 21 percent. Kasich is in fourth place with 6 percent, though he may have since gotten a bump with his showing in New Hampshire.

The same poll shows Hillary Clinton with a commanding 62-30 percent lead over Sanders.

Kasich, 63, will hold a town hall meeting in Ottawa County at 10 a.m. followed by a town hall at Michigan State University at 3:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., he'll hold a town hall meeting at Macomb County GOP headquarters on Hall Rd. in Utica. You can RSVP for the event here.

On Tuesday morning, Kasich will host a town hall for Oakland and Wayne counties at 10 a.m. at the Livonia GOP field office on Seven Mile Rd. You can RSVP here.

This is his first stop in Michigan since last November where he visited Macomb County and downtown Detroit, WXYZ reports.
