A Macomb mom and her 14-year-old son are in custody, suspected of snatching instant lottery tickets from a party story in their community.

A Roseville 14-year-old allegedly stuffed instant tickets into a backpack while his mom held onto a shop clerk.
Christina Hall of the Free Press reports on an allegedly warped example of parental role-modeling:
Latisha M. Embry, 33, of Roseville was being held on $100,000 bond on charges of unarmed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, police said Friday.
Her 14-year-old son will be held in the Macomb County Youth Home pending a hearing Monday, police said.
They were arrested after police received a slew of tips.
Less than 26 hours lapsed between Thursday afternoon's grab-and-dash and Friday's arrest. A clerk recognized the pair as regulars at her Stop & Go Party Store.
