Ronnell "The Hammer" Lewis

Returning to a bar in your old college town may not be a good idea. Just ask linebacker Ronnell Lewis of the Detroit Lions, whose college team nickname was "The Hammer."

The former University of Oklahoma player, a fourth-round 2012 draft pick, was back on campus last weekend and would up in handcuffs, ESPN reports.

Lewis was arrested on three misdemeanor complaints after an altercation at a Norman, Okla., bar. . . .

Lewis, 22, got into the altercation early Saturday morning. . . . Police responded to the incident at about 1:30 a.m., and booked Lewis on complaints of disturbing the peace, public intoxication and interfering with official procedure.
