
Detroit Gallery Week
Art Detroit Now is hosting the sixth edition of Detroit Gallery Week, which brings together galleries, exhibitions and programming from 40+ galleries around the metro area.
The event runs through the weekend.

Palmer Park Architecture And Cabin Tours
People For Palmer Park offers guided walking tours of the Detroit neighborhood's historic apartment district Saturday. Segways also are available to zip along Palmer Park's trails. Even better, the historic Log Cabin, built in the 1880's for the Palmer family, will be open for tours. The cabin opens only a few times a year.
Tickets for some times are sold out, but 20 are left for 10:45 a.m. tours. Others are available for those starting between 1:15 and 3:15 p.m. See a list of times here.

Atwater's Blocktoberfest Party
Atwater Brewery's annual Oktoberfest shindig has corn hole, baseball, german food, and food trucks. And beer, of course! WRIF will be broadcasting live.

Bonuses: A community dinner for the DIA's Inside|Out program, Oktoberfest at The Dakota Inn Rathskeller. Looking forward a few days, future Midtown eatery La Feria is serving tapas at St. Cece's Pub on Tuesday to preview their menu.
